    Why not?  Interest rates are still VERY good.  I'm seeing most people get FIXED mortgage rates below 7%.

    Sellers seem to be more negotiable in their prices.  Locally properties are still closing on average at 97% of asking price.  However, so many of those asking prices have been reduced from their original list price.

    Will interest continue to come down?  I wish I knew the answer to that.  I expect the FEDS to do whatever it takes to spark the economy.  With that said, I don't expect interest to come down to where it was a couple years ago when we were seeing 4.5% interest rates.  So if you're waiting for that, you might be disappointed.

    My advice to buyers right now is this:  "Look for a home.  There's plenty of inventory for you to choose from now.  If you see something you like, make an offer.  You can't get something if you never ask."

    PRICE is key!  If you're a Seller you need to be reasonable with your original list price.  If you are.....your property should be SOLD in a reasonable time frame.  OK, so what's reasonable?  I'll talk more about that tomorrow.
